MARK BOUGHTON
Mark Boughton began his commercial advertising photography career over 15 years ago. Mark is known for creating eye-catching images and building relationships with clients. Having prior experiences assisting a local and international food photographer, connections from these contacts opened the door for Mark's first food clients. His love of food photography was created while working on a fund raising cookbook for Vanderbilt Childrens Hospital, Entertaining with Friends, a job which led him to a start up food magazine, Relish, a newspaper based publication, now with 15 million in circulation. His creative lighting techniques, attention to detail, interest in style and composition, and constant research have led him to be a top food photographer. He has earned the trust of many leading national restaurant accounts as well as recipe and packaging companies. Mark's love of travel has also allowed him the opportunity to discover many of the country's small farms and restaurants, highlighting people, food, and beautiful places.Mark Boughton Photography is located in Nashville, TN, in a building he purchased from his mentor. The newly renovated 4,000 square foot studio has state-of-the-art photography equipment and includes a full kitchen, a changing room for models, conference room, and a 2,000 square foot shooting area with a large bay door. Mark's extensive props include beautiful dishes, cutting boards, tables, and linens.
